Position Overview :
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Onsite Coordinator Volunteer to manage and support our events and projects in Hyderabad. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution of our initiatives, fostering community engagement, and maximizing the impact of our environmental efforts.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the logistics of onsite events and projects in Hyderabad.
- Liaise with volunteers, participants, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling event setups, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available.
- Monitor the progress of activities and provide support to ensure they run smoothly.
- Manage registrations, attendance, and participation records.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and educational programs related to environmental conservation.
- Address any issues or emergencies that arise during events and projects.
- Collect feedback and report on the outcomes and impact of the events.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all participants and volunteers.
- Work closely with the project team to align activities with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability.
- Experience in event planning, coordination, or volunteer management is a plus.
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to event setup and coordination.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings as needed.
- Basic proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a coordination or supervisory role.
- Knowledge of environmental issues and sustainable practices.
- Familiarity with the local community and networks in Hyderabad.
- Ability to speak and understand Telugu , English and/or Hindi.
