Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented Design Volunteer to join our team. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging visual content that supports our environmental projects and campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity to use your design expertise to make a meaningful impact on environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing and project teams to understand design requirements and objectives.
- Create visually appealing graphics, infographics, social media content, and marketing materials.
- Design layouts for reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Develop branding materials that align with our mission and values.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with our brand guidelines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools.
- Provide support for web and UX/UI design as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Visual Designer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
- Understanding of visual design principles and typography.
- Ability to create compelling and aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with web design and UX/UI principles.
- Knowledge of video editing and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Prior involvement in green technology projects or environmental campaigns.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation for digital marketing.
